Pilates is an invaluable tool for rehabilitating an injury or working to correct inefficient posture patterns (the source of many injuries!). All exercises can be modified to suit the needs of each individual participant- regardless of the client’s physical limitations. Further, many professional athletes and dancers are now using Pilates to prevent injuries, and/or recover from them faster. All sessions at Fairlawn Physiotherapy are done on a mat with a range of small props used to train and challenge deep core stabilizers.
