Rebecca Wong MScPT, BSc (Hons)(Kin)
Rebecca is a graduate from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) degree. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto. She has had experience on acute inpatient units including orthopaedics, general medicine, surgical, and intensive care, as well as working with patients with orthopaedic conditions in a private practice setting. These experiences have given her insight and a greater understanding of the entire recovery process and how she can help each person individually.
Rebecca has had post-graduate training including McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Level 1 Manual Therapy, McKenzie and Mulligan Concepts, sports taping certification, and courses on the hip, shoulder, and temporomandibular joint. She uses a combination of manual therapy techniques, acupuncture, education, and exercises to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Rebecca is passionate and enthusiastic about active lifestyles and enjoys being able to empower others to feel the same way. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, running, working out, reading, and spending time with good company and good food!
