Jenna Davidson BPHE, MScPT MScPT
Jenna obtained her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. Prior to this, she graduated from Laurentian University with an Honours degree in Bachelor of Physical Health and Education in Health Promotion. Jenna is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Jenna has a special interest in pelvic health physiotherapy and has completed all of the levels 1, 2 and 3. Her training included how to assess and rehabilitate incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunctions, chronic pelvic pain, pre and post natal rehabilitation, pelvic organ prolapse and more! She has completed courses in acupuncture and dry needling, as well as soft tissue release where she utilizes a variety of techniques that manage pain, repair injuries and prevents recurrences. Jenna’s treatment principles include a strong emphasis on manual therapy, pain management, education, exercise and the use of modalities. She values post-graduate education and is passionate about continuing courses to enhance her practice. Jenna is eager to empower her patients with knowledge and a better understanding of their injury in order to achieve optimal outcomes and their personal goals.
She enjoys working with of any age and has an interest in sports rehabilitation. Jenna brings her sports background and many years as an elite basketball player to Fairlawn. Jenna enjoys travelling and staying active through cycling, golf, beach volleyball, and going to the gym to work on strength and conditioning.
