Erica Caron MScPT, BScKin (Hons).
Erica graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this she completed her undergraduate degree at York University in Kinesiology and Health Science, Specialized Honours. She has had experience working in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation hospitals, and in the private practice setting where she developed the skillset to work with pediatrics, athletes, geriatrics, and those with orthopedic injuries.
Erica uses a holistic approach to treat all her patients with the goal of optimizing their quality of life and function. She empowers her patients to be actively involved in their rehabilitation by providing education and exercise prescription. Erica values post-graduate education and is passionate about continuing to take courses to advance her knowledge. She has completed training in sports taping, Level 1 Manual Therapy, and Postural Control Strategies which she integrates into her treatment. She is always looking to take that next course to enhance her practice.
Erica grew up as a competitive soccer player and enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, badminton, flag football and track recreationally. She continues to live an active lifestyle and encourages everyone to find a type of physical mobility that they can enjoy and maintain. Erica loves to travel and experience adventure, run, practice yoga, and listen to podcasts in her downtime.
